MSU Baseball Signee Season Update

The MSU baseball signees are putting together some solid seasons in their final campaigns before suiting up for the maroon and white.

Forrest Moore is 6-1 on the season and Parview Baptist is 17-9 on the campaign after handing (22-1) Calvary Baptist their first loss on the year earlier this week.

Michael Busby and Porter's Chapel are having a very solid season. The Eagles are 18-1 so far.

Cody Freeman and Paxton Pace are having the kind of senior seasons most prospects hope for. The West Lauderdale Knights are 25-1 and ranked #1 in the state. The Knights could be the best team in the state regardless of classification.

Brent Brownlee and Oxford High School are on the winning side of things with a 12-7 record.

Ryan Collins and the Rutherford Rams are 17-2 on the season and 6-0 in district play. The Rams are currently #4 in the Florida Sports Writers' latest 5A Poll.

Bobby Triglia and The Bolles school are 15-6 after knocking off arch-rival Bishop Kenny. The win snapped a six game Bolles school losing streak in the series. The Bolles school is ranked #2 in the Florida Times Power Poll for A-AAA.

Meridian Community College is 29-7 overall and 8-0 in conference play. Lee Swindle has been a very dependable starter for MCC and Tyler Moore's 11 homeruns make him a very dangerous hitter.

Shawn Marquardt and the Carmel Greyhounds got their season underway a few days ago. The Hounds are 3-1 on the season and 2-0 in district play.
