MSU Commitment Scoreboard Update

The MSU Commitment Scoreboard Update is a free weekly feature that allows you, the fan, to see how the Bulldogs-to-be did in their most recent high school contests.

Nelson Hurst and his Plainfield High teammates were on their way to 2-0 when their game was stopped due to weather. PHS was leading Lawrence North 10-0 at the time of the delay. The game will resume at 11 A.M. Saturday.

Last Weekend Nelson caught his first pass of the season as in a 21-7 PHS win.

Corey Broomfield and Bayside high got a chance at a dress rehearsal tonight. Bayside played Flanagan High School in a preseason game that Bayside won 28-20.

Charles Bailey and Bartram Trail were scheduled to play Fleming Island in a kick off classic tonight. The score of the pre-season game was unavailable. Bartam Trail plays host to Palatka next weekend in the season opener.

Baker Swedenburg and Heritage Academy got their season off to a rough start this evening. Leake Academy wound up on the winning end of a 38-7 decision.

Kirkland Gainous will lead Lincoln High into battle on Thursday August, 30th. The Trojans will begin the season on the road at Rickers.

Bo Walters and Briarwood Christian got a first hand look at next week's opponent this evening when the two teams met at Vestavia's jamboree.

Briarwood will travel to Vestavia next weekend for the real thing.

Montario Patterson and Biggersville get an early test next week when they host 2006 1A North State champ East Webster.

Terrance Davis and the Seminoles of Salem High School will visit Thomson High next week in the lid lifter for both squads.

Delmon Robinson and Vicksburg will play host to 4A Power Clarksdale in the Annual Red Carpet Bowl next Friday at Warren Central.

Kendrick Cook and Etowah will host Gadsen City next week.

Templeton Hardy and North Panola will get their senior seasons underway next Friday when they travel to Coahoma County.

Arceto Clark and Shannon will get the chance to put their high powered offense to the test when West Point rolls into town.

John Paul Alford and Koscuisko look to get their title quest off to a good start next week when they entertain Northwest Rankin.

Devin Jones will be on the sidelines, but DeSoto Central takes on Bruce next weekend in week one.
