The Student Association is requesting that all Bulldog fans show their support for our team by attending "Cowbell Yell" at the Junction on
Wednesday. Festivities will get under way at 5:30 with a pep rally. Fans are also encouraged to wear WHITE proudly on Thursday for the 7:00 pm game against SEC Western Division foe LSU. We are asking that Students, Alumni, Faculty, and Friends all wear WHITE!
We have been picked by ESPN to be the first college football game of the year and the entire nation will be watching. On Wednesday night, ESPN will set up in the Junction and have live updates during their broadcast, including a live interview with Head Coach Sylvester Croom
. This is our chance to show how much we support our beloved Bulldogs to the entire country, by showing up, making a lot of noise, and being enthusiastic on national television. We know that cowbells are not allowed in Davis Wade Stadium, but we urge all fans to come to the Junction on Wednesday, cowbells in hand, and help show the nation we are excited about our team. We also urge all MSU fans and supporters to wear white to the game on Thursday.
The team has been working day in and day out in the stifling heat in preparation for the season, and they deserve our loyalty to them as
fans. Our University is one full of honor and pride, and we should uphold that spirit with support for our football team. And there is no better way to show our unified support for our team and coach than for us all to be wearing white on Thursday night. Let's show our
team, possible recruits, prospective students, and the nation that we are proud of our university and support it to the fullest. Remember to wear WHITE on August 30th, and come ready to cheer the Bulldogs on to victory. Go DAWGS!!!
