MSU Commitment Scoreboard Update 9/21

The commitment scoreboard update is a free weekly feature that provides a look at the latest high school action involving prospects committed to Mississippi State.

Bo Walters and top rated Briarwood Christian continued their winning ways as they plowed over Anniston 37-17. Briarwood (4-0) jumped out to a 37-0 lead before calling off the dogs.

Terrance Davis rushed for two touchdowns including the game winner as Salem High slipped by Oconee County 14-7. Davis and Salem are now 3-1 on the season and have won three straight.

Charles Bailey and Batram Trail improved to 3-1 with a 26-14 win over Orange Park.

Corey Broomfield and Bayside came from behind to defeat Centennial 28-9. Bayside is 2-1 on the season and 1-0 in district play.

Kirland Gainous and Lincoln High tasted defeat for the first time this season after Valdosta high scored two 4th quarter touchdowns to win 21-17. Lincoln falls to 3-1 on the season.

John Paul Alford and Kosciusko (3-1) got back on track after last week's narrow loss to Louisville. The Whippets left no doubt this week by pasting Neshoba Central 53-0.

Arceto Clark and Shannon raced to 4-0 after a late touchdown provided the margin of victory in a 34-28 contest with Amory.

Delmon Robinson rushed for two touchdowns as Vicksburg blew by Callway 44-7. The Gators are 3-1 on the season.

Templeton Hardy and North Panola jumped out to an early lead over Holly Springs, but couldn't hang on. North Panola drops to 2-2 after the 24-20 loss.

Baker Swedenburg and Heritage Academy are still looking for their first win of the season. Heritage's offensive woes continued this past week as Jackson Academy won going away, 40-0.

Devin Jones will be back in action in the next couple of weeks, but this week he watched from the sidelines as DeSoto Central (1-3) lost a nailbiter 14-13 to Hernando.

Tojo Patterson saw his Biggersville team fall to 1-3 without him. BHS just couldn't generate any offense and fell to Thrasher 14-0.

Kendrick Cook and Etowah saw their record fall even at 2-2 after losing 20-0 to Scottsboro.

Nelson Hurst and the Plainfield Quakers drop to 4-2 after losing 31-14 to Decatur Central. PHS is 2-1 in conference play.
