MSU Commitment Scoreboard Update 10/26

The MSU commitment scoreboard update is a free weekly feature available to all readers. The purpose of this feature is to allow you the reader to keep up with how the Bulldogs-to-be did in their latest high school action.

Trevor Stigers and Ridgeland clinched the school's first ever district title Friday night following a 27-7 win over Yazoo City. The Titans are 9-0 on the season.

Joshua Jackson and Canton rolled on to 7-2 with a 18-13 win over Vicksburg.

Delmon Robinson scored on a 12 yard TD pass from Stanton Price late, but the Gators could get no closer.

Antonio Hoskins and Water Valley fell to 2-6 after tonight's 62-41 loss to J.Z. George.

Baker Swedenburg and Heritage Academy took it on the chin in a 27-7 loss to Kirk Academy. Heritage is now 1-9 on the season.

Templeton Hardy and North Panola drop to 4-5 after getting drilled 35-0 by Senatobia.

Arceto Clark and Shannon suffered their first loss of the year 29-28 to Itwamba AHS. Shannon falls to 8-1 and will finish second in the district race.

John Paul Alford and Koscuisko got back on track this week with a 35-0 blanking of Independence. The Whippets improve their record to 6-3 on the season.

Bo Walters had 10 tackles to lead Briarwood. The Lions roared past Chelsea 28-10 to clinch the regional title outright for the first time in five years.

Kendrick Cook and Etowah got back over .500 with a 21-9 over Southside-Gadsden.

Terrance Davis and Salem rolled on to 7-1 after a 26-19 win over Heritage.

Corey Broomfield and Bayside blasted Eau Gallie 38-10. Bayside is now tied for the first in the district and boasts an overall record of 7-2.

Charles Bailey and Bartram Trail fell to 5-4 after getting thumped 43-7 by Nease. Bartram Trail can clinch the district title with a win next week.

Kirkland Gainous and Lincoln won their ninth consective district by blowing out Chiles 52-12.

Nelson Hurst and Plainfield get to suit for at least one more week after blowing out Lebanon 42-3.

MSU commitments Devin Jones and Montario Patterson are done for the year after suffering season ending injuries.


Despite less than ideal weather conditions, Chris Garrett and Tupelo got back on track by knocking off DeSoto Central 47-0. Tupelo is now 7-2 in overall and the Wave controls their own destiny for the #2 seed.
