MSU Commitment Scoreboard Update 11/23

The MSU commitment scoreboard update is a free weekly feature that allows you the fan to keep up with how the Bulldogs of the future are doing in their final high school action.

John Paul Alford and Kosciusko (9-4) are still riding the wave. The Whippets knocked off another 4A heavyweight this week as they got by West Point 42-28. The Wave had gotten the better of KHS during the regular season, but the fourth seeded Whippets turned the tables on West Point in the post season. Alford and his teammates will travel to Noxubee County this week for the 4A North State championship.

Charles Bailey and Bartram Trail (8-4) kept their state title hopes alive with a 35-12 thumping of Niceville. The Bears will host Fleming Island in the Regional finals next week.

Bo Walters and Briarwood remain undefeated after ending J.O. Johnson's upset bid 35-20. The Lions (13-0) will travel to Cullman next week for the state semi-finals.

Kirkland Gainous and Lincoln saw their season come to an abrupt and unexpected end this past week as the Trojans were shredded 42-15 by First Coast.

2009 Chris Garrett and Tupelo had South Panola on the ropes for most of their contest this past Friday night, but a fake punt by the Tigers changed the game's momentum. Chris threw a pair of touchdown passes, but the Wave came up short 28-21. Tupelo ends their season 9-4.

All other Bulldog commitments have completed their play for 2007.
