MSU Commitment Scoreboard Final Update

The MSU Commitment Scoreboard Update is a free weekly feature during the high school football season that allows you the fan to keep up with how the Bulldogs-to-be are performing in their final high school seasons.

Barring a new commitment in the coming week from a state title contender out of the state of Florida, the Bulldog signing class of 2008 has played it's last high school football game.

Bo Walters and Briarwood trailed 14-7 with just under a minute to play when the Lions blocked a St. Paul's punt and recovered it for a touchdown to bring the score to 14-13. On the ensuing extra point attempt, St.Paul's blocked the kick to preserve the victory and win the state title.

Briarwood finishes the season 14-1 and the tremendous high school career of linebacker Bo Walters comes to a close.

Charles Bailey and Bartam Trail saw their run as Cinderella come up one game short and essentially one play short of making it to the state title.

The Bears gave Osceola all they could handle, but fell in overtime 27-21. Bartam Trail ends the season 9-5.

If Bailey and company could have pulled off the upset, they would have gone on to face St. Thomas Aquinas in the state title game. Philip Pierre-Louis scored on a 58 yard touchdown pass to as STA rolled 35-13 over Largo.

All other MSU commitments have concluded their seasons.
