"I like Arkansas State," said Smith, of his Jonesboro, Arkansas visit. "It's a nice campus. And I like the way the program is going because it's getting better every year."
On the agenda this coming weekend is Louisiana Tech, followed by Mississippi State the week after that and Southern Miss the last weekend.
He explained what he likes about those three schools.
"Louisiana Tech plays a lot of teams from the west coast," said Smith. "I like where Southern Miss is located and that they are recruiting me hard. And I like Mississippi State's location and that it's the home field."
According to Smith, no school has the upper hand.
"I'm not leaning to any of the schools," said Smith. "They are all even."
But one school, Mississippi State, may have an ever so slight advantage due to what conference they play in.
"I've grown up an SEC fan, but that's not necessarily going to effect my decision," said Smith.
Will SEC school Mississippi State ultimately win out for the talented lineman or will one of the other three overcome the slight advantage MSU has? Stay tuned to Scout.com to find out.
