Basketball Scrimmage Open to the Public

STARKVILLE, Miss. ­ The Mississippi State Bulldogs will hold an intrasquad basketball scrimmage Saturday morning prior to the MSU-Kentucky football game. Open to the public with no charge for admission, the basketball scrimmage will begin around 10:30 a.m. at MSU's Humphrey Coliseum.

In the first of two preseason exhibition contests, coach Rick Stansbury's Bulldogs will play host to BWB of California on Saturday, Nov. 9. Free and open to the public, tip-off time for next weekend's exhibition basketball game is slated for 7 p.m. at Humphrey Coliseum.

MSU's second and final preseason exhibition contest will take place Thursday, Nov. 14 against the Harlem Globetrotters. Tickets for Mississippi State's exhibition finale are available for $12.

The Bulldogs, defending SEC Tournament champions, will tip off their 91st season of collegiate basketball competition by playing host to Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday, Nov. 23.
