Croom To Host Golf Tournament For Diabetes

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Mississippi State head football coach Sylvester Croom will host the Bulldog Scramble Golf Tournament at Dancing Rabbit Golf Club at Pearl River Resort on Monday, May 12. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi.

The day-long event set to take place in Choctaw, Miss. (near Philadelphia, Miss.) will begin with registration at 11 a.m., and a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Coach Croom will meet each of the participants and will be amongst the players teeing off for the cause of defeating one of Mississippi's top health concerns.

Cost for the event is $250 per person and every dollar raised at the Bulldog Scramble will stay in Mississippi to provide care for children and adults with diabetes. Along with playing at one of the top 75 golf courses in America according to Golf Digest, the registration fee will entitle guests to lunch, all beverages during play, golf cart use, cocktail reception afterward and prizes.
