MSU Commitment Scoreboard Update - Week 4

The MSU commitment scoreboard is and has always been a free feature that allows you the fan the chance to see how the current Mississippi State football commitments made out in their most recent action on the gridiron.

Tyler Russell and Meridian (3-1) got back on track even though they had to come from behind to do it.

Russell threw two touchdowns in a 34-23 win over West Lauderdale.

Chris Smith caught four passes for 44 yards. Smith has hauled in 18 passes on the season.

Cameron Lawrence ran for two scores and passed for another as Magnolia Heights advanced to 4-1. The 35-17 win over Starkville Academy marks the fourth win in a row for the Chiefs.

William Shumpert and IAHS remain unbeaten after a 35-0 win over Saltillo. The Indians are now 4-0 on the year.

Deontae Skinner and Noxubee blasted Caledonia 53-0 to advance to 3-0.

Montez Phillips and Lafayette County evened their record at 2-2 after winning the annual Crosstown Classic. The Commodores had their way with Oxford 32-7.

Josh Boyd and Philadelphia won their third in a row with a 28-6 win over Lake.

Fletcher Cox and Yazoo City beat their Yazoo County neighbors 47-22. Yazoo City is 3-1 on the season.

Gabriel Jackson and his Amite County teammates were looking for a little revenge after losing to rival Jefferson County in the spring jamboree. Amite County fell to 1-2 after dropping a heartbreaker 20-14.

Jonathan Banks and East Webster got all dressed up with no where to go this past Friday night. Weather forced a postponement. East Webster will look to remain unbeaten when they take on West Okitbbeha Monday at 7:30.

Nickoe Whitley is done for the year, but his Provine teammates advanced to 3-1 with a 33-6 win over Wingfield.

Montrell Conner ran for a pair of scores to pace Ouachita in 31-7 win over Airline. The Lions are 2-1 on the season and 1-0 in district. Powerhouse West Monroe will visit next week.

Anthony Rogers and North Little Rock remain undefeated and unranked. This past weekend North Little Rock slipped by 5A's #9 team Sylvan Hills 7-6.

Josh Hollingsworth and Hamilton (4-0) have been winning through the air, but Josh took what the defense gave him on the ground to knock off a pesky Winfield team 14-6. Hollingsworth ran for 120 yards on six carries including a 71 yard touchdown run on a quarterback keeper.

Sam Watts and Salem appear to be getting their feet under them after opening up 0-2. The Seminoles rolled past Monroe Area High 24-7 to even their record at 2-2.

Chris White and Mississippi Gulf Coast saw their 15 game winning streak snapped in the final seconds of a 27-23 loss to East Mississippi. The #2 Bulldogs fall to 3-1 on the season.

Pernell McPhee and ICC are having a rough go of it this year. A week removed from their first win of the season Itawamba took a step backwards in a 33-10 loss to Northwest CC.
