Anthony Rogers and North Little Rick got back on track this week with an 18-10 win over a pesky Conway team. The Wildcats are now 4-1 on the season.

Gabriel Jackson and Amite County fell to 1-4 after coming up short in a 19-8 affair with South Pike.

Jonathan Banks and East Webster used just enough offense and another dominant defensive effort to improve to 6-0. The Wolverines are giving up just over five points per game after tonight's 13-3 win over Vardaman. Banks ran for one touchdown and threw for another.

Deontae Skinner and Noxubee County demolished West Point 42-0. The game was billed as preview of the North State 4A final, but it proved to be a woodshed game for the Wave. Noxubee County is 5-0 on the season and the popular pick to win it all.

Tyler Russell was a precise 20 of 26 for 341 yards most of which came in the game's decisive third quarter. Russell ran for one score and threw for three more as the Wildcats polished off Hattiesburg 42-26.

Chris Smith hauled in five catches for 122 yards including a 69 yard touchdown pass. Meridian scored 35 second half points after leading just 7-6 at halftime.

Montez Phillips and Lafayette County notched their fourth win a row with a 35-21 win over Hernando. Phillips threw one touchdown pass and ran for two more as the Commodores improve to 4-2.

Josh Boyd and Philadelphia proved to be too much for Newton defensively. Philadelphia moves two games over .500 after the 20-0 blanking.

Fletcher Cox and Yazoo City (4-2) were upset 12-6 by the Vicksburg Gators.
