"Auburn, Tennessee and Ole Miss have come in. Mississippi State came to my school and visited me there. The University of Memphis and Alcorn (State) have come in. Southern Miss has come in. There have been a lot of schools."
You've had a lot of schools visit. Has it gotten kind of tough on you with so many visiting you?
"No, I just take it in stride. I just look at what God has blessed me with and thank Him for it and keep on keeping on."
Have you set up any official visits?
"I've already visited Auburn. I am going to visit Ole Miss January 10th. And I'm going to visit Tennessee on the 17th (of January) and Georgia on the 24th (of January)."
Do you plan on visiting Mississippi State?
"I'm going to try and visit them."
Do you have any leaders among the ones that you have mentioned?
"No sir, they all have an equal chance."
What schools have offered you a scholarship?
"Every school in the SEC except for Vanderbilt."
Are schools recruiting you as a defensive end or a linebacker?
"Mississippi State said I was going to play linebacker only if I wanted to. But if I didn't want to I could play (defensive) end."
What do you want to play in college?
Has Mississippi State making the coaching changes affected your opinion of them?
"When I choose a school I want to know the head coach will be there a while. Seeing them get rid of those coaches, I lost a little bit of interest because (Coach Sherrill) doesn't trust his coaching staff to give them another year. I understand that everyone has a bad season but if you stick with them during the hard times there is bound to be something good at the end of that road. Evidently, he didn't see it that way and had to do what he had to do, I guess."
I won't take anymore of your time. Thanks for talking with me, Quentin.
