Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Alabama, UAB, Ohio State and Tennessee are trying to get this highly thought of young man's signature on the dotted line the first Wednesday in February.

LeRon, I'm calling to get a recruiting update. I know you are considering Mississippi State. When are you officially visiting them?
"January 24th."

What other schools are you visiting?
"I've got Alabama on the 10th, Ole Miss on the 17th and UAB on the 31st."

Did you visit any other schools in December?
"I took a few unofficial."

Other than the schools that you are visiting, are any other schools still calling you?
"Tennessee."

Do you have a favorite among the schools recruiting you?
"My top three are Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Ohio State."

Ohio State? Are you going to visit them?
"I took an unofficial visit up there during the Christmas holidays. I have family up there and visited them. I stayed on campus all day."

What is it about those that you like over the other ones?
"They use a big back in their offense."

You are a pretty big guy. What is your height and weight?
"I'm 6-2, 240."

Have you had your forty time tested lately?
"Yes sir, I'm 4.5 now."

What MSU coach is recruiting you?
"Coach (Curley) Hallman."
