Who was your player host while you were at Mississippi State?
"Aries Nelson."

What did you think about him?
"That's my dog there, man."

Oh, so you knew him beforehand?
"Yeah, he is from (Cleveland) East Side."

Yeah, but you are from Greenville.
"That doesn't mean anything. (laugh)"

So, everybody knows everybody else in the Delta, huh? (laugh)
"Everybody knows everybody."

Aries was you host. What other players did you hang around with? You can include other recruits as well.
"I hung with Darren (Williams) and these three guys from Atlanta (Jeramie Johnson and Jarvis Jackson from Washington HS and Avery Hannibal from Troup County HS.). I hung out with Coach (John) Blake and Coach (Ron) Cooper and Coach (Jackie) Sherrill."

Was your visit better than you expected or about what you expected?
"It was pretty good. They showed me around and told me everything. All the players seemed like they were together and everything. It was a pretty cool atmosphere."

Was that anything that impressed you the most about Mississippi State while you were on your visit?
"About how the players are together. I like when they are together like that. They are like a my brother type family."

Where does this visit leave State among your schools?
"I'm still looking at everybody. Everybody is equal. I've got to check out everybody."

Alright, that's all I need to know. Thanks for talking with me, Devrick.
"Alright, no problem."
