Michael Carr found the end zone twice (43 yard TD catch, 20 yard run) on Friday as Carr and teammate Curtis Virges led West Point in a 43-0 white wash of Lake Cormorant.

West Point is now 7-1 and riding a seven game winning streak.

Jameon Lewis led his top ranked Tylertown squad (7-0) to a 19-6 win over Jefferson County last week. The Chiefs will take on Franklin County this week in a match-up that many in south Mississippi have been waiting for.

While much of the talk has centered around Lewis, the Chief defense has held four of their last five opponents to a touchdown or less.

Kaleb Eulls scored on a pair of one yard runs, but in the end a failed two point conversion proved to be the difference as Humphreys County escaped with a 14-12 win over Yazoo County (4-3).

Brandon Hill and West Lowndes (5-3) found the Ackerman defense to be too much this week as the region leaders cruise in a 27-0 win.

West Lowndes is currrently 1-2 in region play and will need to play well in the next couple of weeks in order to make the playoffs.

Malcolm Johnson helped Northridge's post season hopes with a strong showing in a 27-13 win over Jackson-Olin.

The scoutTV cameras were in attendance, so we will have video highlights from the game including Malcolm's 37 yard touchdown catch.
