A Q&A With DL Chuck Hunter

West Monroe (LA) High School class of 2011 defensive lineman Chuck Hunter (6-1, 290) talks about his experience at the Mississippi State camp.

What camps have you attended this summer?
"I just came from Auburn Sunday and then this one."

Do you plan on attending any other camps this summer?
"I plan on going to ULL, Tulane, TCU, Memphis and LSU."

What schools are showing interest in you?
"TCU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and La Tech if I want to stay home."

What schools have offered?
"La Tech, TCU, Baylor, Memphis, Mississippi State and Ole Miss. I haven't gotten my paper from Mississippi State but they said they are going to offer me."

Who is recruiting you for Mississippi State?
"Coach Hevesy."

Did he talk to you today while you were at the camp?
"He told me how proud he was to have me here (at their camp), and he wants to see me be a Bulldog."

What do you think about Coach Hevesy?
"I like him. He's my boy. He reminds me of my coach from West Monroe. They have a lot of emotions and you can talk to them about anything because they are there for you."

Do you have any of the schools ahead of the others?
"No sir, they are all even."

What do you like about each of the schools?
"Early playing time and good coaching."
