Cox on Big Dawg Camp

West Point standout Justin Cox left Mississippi State with an offer after his last camping experience there. This weekend Cox returned to Starkville to take part in the Big Dawg camp and he had ideas about taking the Bulldogs up on their scholarship offer.

"I thought the camp went alright," said Justin. "It was a little slow for me. I feel like I did pretty good, but not my best.

"I just have to keep working hard and hustling to the ball."

The talk around Starkville earlier in the day was that Cox was ready to pledge his allegiance to the Maroon and White, but the talented corner reports he stopped short of saying the magic words.

"I haven't committed yet, but I have high interest in them," said Justin of Mississippi State. "I am still thinking about it. It's a hard decision."

He had the chance to speak with the Bulldogs' head man, Dan Mullen, about where things stood early Friday afternoon.

"I talked with Coach Mullen and he said he doesn't want to put any pressure on me, but he wants me to come and be a Dog," said Justin. "It's all confusing to me. I know it's my decision, but I am waiting for the right time. I am not quite ready."
