Connor Ratcliff was one of the more productive receivers in Missouri last season. The 6-foot, 175-pound caught 64 passes for 948 yards.
"I think I played very well. I was consistent from game-to-game," Ratcliff said.
What was it that made Ratcliff so productive for Parkview?
"I would like to think I have great hands. I'm an excellent route runner. I know the game very well. I'm quick off the ball," he continued.
There are a handful of schools who are showing interested in Ratcliff, aside from Missouri State.
"I have heard from Yale, Princeton, Tulsa and Western Illinois," he said.
Ratcliff is also a legacy prospect for Missouri State.
"My dad and mom are alumni, so we go to several events," he said. "I think it's a beautiful campus and they are always building something to make it nicer. I'm excited to see their new stadium."
Ratcliff is familiar with the football side of Missouri State as well.
"I think they are doing good as a team. They are doing well and it seems that they are getting better each year. They have a pretty solid local recruiting class for next season. So it should make for a lot of fun to watch them play," he continued.
Ratcliff has also been invited to camp with the Bears, but he's unsure if he'll make the date requested.
"I have a lot of camps on my schedule for this summer and unfortunately I got invited to NFTC on the same day as the Missouri State camp on June 1. We're still figuring things out and seeing which camp I'll be attending," he finished.
