After having a big year for Blue Valley Northwest (KS.), junior running back Miles Alexander is hearing from a number of schools. One program that recently came by to check on him was Missouri State.

Alexander said that Coach Ben Barkema was in town to check on him and a teammate and asked told them about the Missouri State football camps.

"Missouri State stopped by our school the other day. We really just introduced ourselves," said Alexander. "That's about it. It was only about five minutes. I'm sure he's been meeting with a lot of athletes recently."

Alexander and teammate Jack Kutey were both invited to come down to camp at Missouri State.

"He mentioned the camp dates and said he wanted Jack and I to come down there," Alexander said.

Alexander isn't sure if he's going to make it to the camp or not, but he's considering it and he wants to learn more about the Bears and their program.

"There are a lot of schools that have been swinging by and telling me I should go to different camps and such. So I really need to research all of them and narrow it down.

"I don't know too much about Missouri State yet. But I will get to learn more," he finished.
