Speedy receiver Dallas Hester has an invitation to camp with Missouri State this summer. The 6-foot-1, 170-pound junior may be on campus very soon.
"The coach told me to make sure I show up to their camp on June 1st. The he asked if I had a Twitter account. We didn't talk long because he was on his way out when I was headed into the weight room," Hester said
Hester has great interest in the Missouri State program.
"Missouri State would be a great place to go to school and play football. I would be close to home. My family and friends could come watch me play. I feel like their program is getting better and better each year," Hester said.
There are other programs who are showing interest in Hester as well.
"The schools I have heard from the most are Central Arkansas and a little from Western Illinois and Evangel.
"Central Arkansas I feel like is pretty close to offering me. They have been contacting me at least once a week. When they invited me to their camp, they said if I haven't got an offer yet, I could get one while at the camp," he said.
Hester had a big junior season. He picked up 59 catches for 1059 yards and 16 touchdowns.
"As a player, I feel like my greatest strengths are my speed, route running and the ability to fire off the snap of the ball," he finished.
