Already blessed with college size (6-foot-8, 230-pounds), Kansas City (KS.) Blue Valley West High forward Blaise Gammon has the attention of a handful of programs, including seven scholarship offers.

“I have other offers from: Indiana State, Stephen F. Austin, Illinois-Chicago, Brown, Northern Colorado, and Nebraska Omaha,” Gammon said.

Gammons’ offer from Missouri State was an exciting one for him.

“I was extremely excited to get my offer from Missouri State. They have recruited me since right after my freshman year. It was great to achieve that,” Gammon said.

Gammon is familiar with the Bears’ program and has a high opinion of Coach Lusk and his staff.

“I really like their program. They have a very good team. Their coaches are great. I love the facilities as well,” he continued.

So what kind of player is the senior-to-be?

“I am a very physical player who is a very good rebounder. I’m good defensively and play well around the rim. Our last high school year I played well, but was a little below what we were hoping for with a few late season injuries,” he finished.
