DaVondre Love is a massive offensive line prospect standing at 6-foot-7, 290-pounds. But the senior isn’t just defined by his size on the field.
“I’m an aggressive, fast paced player,” said Love. “I’m always working to finish blocks and get to the next level. I would also like to think I’m very hardworking and coachable.”
But obviously with Love, his physical attributes can’t be ignored.
“My strengths are my long arms and my size in general, which you can’t teach. And I have speed for my size and position,” he continued.
With his size and ability it’s not shocking that several schools are interested in Love.
Love added his fourth scholarship offer when the Missouri State Bears joined his offer list this month. The MSU Bears offer is one that Love is excited about.
“It felt great to get an offer from Missouri State. I got to go to camp there this summer. I loved the campus. It was beautiful and the coaches were really cool guys who I wouldn’t mind playing for,” Love said. “I like how they seem to be a pretty close family oriented kind of program.”
Love hasn’t taken a visit to Missouri State since he went this summer, but he’s aware of the improvements that Coach Allen and his staff are taking advantage of and he is excited to see what things are like now.
“I thought the campus was beautiful when I was there. They were still making improvements to the stadium and they were building more stuff. So I can imagine how great it looks now competed to this summer,” he finished.
