Topeka (KS.) High senior Jeron Caraway is hearing from a number of football programs. Missouri State is one of the schools showing interest and the interest is mutual.

Jeron Caraway, a 6-foot-2, 200-pound linebacker, has been on the radar for several schools. A few schools are in line to get official visits this month. And another one could happen as well.

So far I’ve really been hearing from Southern Nazerene, Washburn, Pittsburgh State, Fort Hays, and Missouri State. So far I’ve been offered by Washburn with official visits for the rest except for Missouri State,” Caraway said.

With a new staff in place, Caraway is already familiar with Missouri State’s school and hopes to have an official visit scheduled.

“I’ve yet to take an official visit, but I have been there once before on an unofficial visit. Hopefully the official visit is to come soon,” Caraway said.

What kind of player is Caraway and what would he bring to the table on the next level?

“I would say my main strength would be my ability to be very coachable with my work ethic aiding it,” he said. “I would definitely say that I’m versatile, persistent, competitive and also analytical. Throughout my high school career I’ve played five different positions and quickly picked up every single one.”
