Missouri State hosted Stilwell (KS.) Blue Valley West tight end, Blaise Gammon. The tight end shared the latest in his recruitment and where the Bears stand at this stage.

When we last spoke with Blaise Gammon, it was in relation to his recruitment on the basketball court. However Gammon took a visit to Springfield this weekend to meet Coach Dave Steckel and his new staff.

Gammon picked up a scholarship offer from the previous staff that was carried over to the new coaches. The 6-foot-7, 230-pound senior left with a nice impression of the staff.

“I was really impressed by the new coaches. They brought lots of energy and were very personable,” said Gammon. “They seemed like they had a plan ready to put in place and they knew what they were talking about.”

Gammon also plays basketball and will be playing in a tournament next weekend. With limited time left to take visits, where does Missouri State stand?

“I don’t have any other offers right now. I’m pretty sure I’m going to go the football route.

“(Missouri State) is definitely one of my top choices without a doubt. I’m still not 100-percent sure what I will do yet,” Gammon finished.
