Missouri State signed a few players yesterday that fans weren’t aware were on board. One of those players was Cameron Price from Florissant, Missouri. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound safety is a strong fit for Steckel’s defense.
“As a player I’m pretty well rounded. I enjoy stepping up and being a leader vocally and by my actions,” Price said. “My biggest skills are my skills to cover people and reading the offense.”
Price had several schools interested in him, including most of the Missouri Valley Conference programs and even FBS New Mexico. But Missouri State sold him with their staff and how comfortable he felt dealing with them.
“What led me to sign with Missouri State was the people. I enjoyed the players, the coaching staff, the students on campus; it feels like home.
“The thing I like most is the people and the vibe the school has. Everyone is looking for success. That motivates me to be great,” he said.
