Buford talks about his Missouri State choice

Missouri State added Aurora (IL) Wabonsie Valley wide receiver Will Buford to their 2015 recruiting class. Buford is among several preferred walk-on prospects who will be joining the program.

Will Buford took a visit to Missouri State the weekend before signing day to confirm that he would be on board with the Missouri State class for 2015.

“Coach Steckel and Coach Egorugwu are both great guys and came from a great program at Missouri. They know how to win and I know we can make something special,” Buford said.

Buford not opposed to hard work and his skills will fit in with any program looking for wide receivers.

“I would describe myself as a hard-working receiver that will do anything to help my team win. I pride myself on my route running and blocking.

“I have developed good hands from working with Jeff Christiansen from Throw it Deep Academy and TK Ehlebract,” he continued.

Buford also has another connection to Missouri State

“My dad played at MSU in 1982, so I was happy that I have a chance to play there as well,” he finished.
