Changes On Depth Chart Due To Injuries

The Missouri Tigers have had to move some players around and could be without two of their top players on Saturday.

The Missouri Tigers could be without two of their top players when the Miami, OH Redhawks come to the Zou on Saturday afternoon.

Tiger All-American DE Aldon Smith is expected to miss the game with a broken bone in his leg.

It is reportedly a non-weight bearing bone and he could return this season, perhaps as soon as a few weeks.

I noticed Aldon limping at the end of the SDSU game, but was not sure of the seriousness of the injury.

Taking Aldon's spot at right defensive end will be sophomore DE Brad Madison.

Starting weak-side linebacker Zaviar Gooden also apparently has some kind of injury and will be replaced by starting strong-side linebacker Andrew Gachkar in the line-up. Gooden is listed as a reserve for Saturday's game and looks as if he will play some.

Former starting middle linebacker Luke Lambert will return from his injury and take Gachkar's place as the strong-side linebacker spot.

Former starting free safety Jasper Simmons will return from injury this week and is listed as a key reserve, and third string behind Harrison and Tavon Bolden.
