Texas Lineman Talks About Mizzou Visit

Could a commitment be coming soon after recruit enjoys weekend visit and witnesses Tiger win over CU?

On Saturday, Missouri hosted a trio of official visitors. Among those taking a close up look at Missouri was 2011 OL Cyril Lemon 6'3" 305 Marble Falls (TX). After his visit, Lemon spoke with ShowMeMizzou, and talked about his visit, and his current recruitment status.

"(The visit) went very well," said Cyril Lemon. "Very well.............. I got to hang out with the players, and saw their new facilities. I just had a good time. I got to talk to most of the coaches. I had fun. I had a great time."

Lemon, who also holds offers from Texas State, Houston, and Florida International, indicated that Missouri is on the top of his list. He said that he's "thinking about" committing to Missouri, but that he wants to give it some time.

"I just need to pray about it," said Lemon. "And, see if that's where the Lord wants me."

The big linemen said that the Missouri coaches project him at guard for the Tigers. He reports a 5.4 second forty yard dash, a 4.8 second shuttle time, a 25" vertical jump, and personal bests in the bench press of 310 lbs., and squat of 525 lbs..

He talked about the distance from home as a concern for him.

"Yeah. It's kind of far from home," said Lemon. "But, it's a beautiful campus. And, my mom likes it................. I think it's a great program. I think the way that they're doing it, I love it."

Lemon was also impressed with the game atmosphere at Missouri. ShowMeMizzou will continue to follow his recruitment.
