Brothers Taking His Time

Oklahoma linebacker prospect visited Missouri recently and gives us the latest where his recruitment is at

One other unofficial visitor who made it to Missouri for the Oklahoma game is 2011 LB prospect Kentrell Brothers 6'1" 215 Guthrie (OK) . Brothers, who has held a Missouri offer since last spring, spoke with ShowMeMizzou, and talked about his visit to Missouri.

"It was great! I knew it would be," said Brothers. "Two top ten teams, Missouri and Oklahoma. I knew it was going to be a good game. After the first kick-off, when he took it to the house, I knew I was going to enjoy myself. I knew OU had something coming for them. So, it was great! I enjoyed it a lot! I thought it would be a close game, but they actually put it on them pretty good. So, I was impressed!"

"Missouri is definitely in the picture," explained Brothers, when I asked him about his current interest. "They were the first school to really take an interest in me. That means a lot, that they were in it from the beginning."

Brothers mentioned Arizona and Oregon State by name, but insisted that he's still pretty much wide open, and hasn't really narrowed his list of schools. Brothers said that he wants to take his time, and that he's not ready to make his decision.

ShowMeMizzou will continue to follow Kentrell Brothers' recruitment.
