2012 DB To Check Out The Tigers

2012 Midwestern defensive back talks schools of interest in recruitment, including the Missouri Tigers

Indianapolis Pike junior Jonathan Reed is a high school safety who projects to cornerback at the next level. The 5-10, 160-lb Reed already has a Toledo offer and a number of other schools are inquiring. He says recently, a few have picked it up.

"My new school interests are Ohio State, Northwestern, Stanford, Vanderbilt, and Missouri," he reported.

He has also been able to get out on the road recently, something he hopes to continue to do this winter and spring.

"I went to the Louisville game a week ago against West Virginia. That was a great game. I am going to the Junior day at Iowa in January, and I am attending the Mizzou spring game."

Over the summer, Reed's best camp stop was arguably at Ohio State, where he ran a 4.42 forty yard dash and recorded a 38-inch vertical. As a result, the Buckeyes are continuing to recruit him.

"Coach Tressel from Ohio State came to speak with my coach today about me."
