"It was a lot of fun!" said McGovern. "I really liked the fact that I got to meet my future teammates for next year. That was probably one of the best things."
McGovern indicated that he and Brad McNulty really hit it off, and that the two of them meshed real well with the current Missouri offensive linemen.
McGovern enjoyed watching the Tigers practice, and especially likes the fact that Missouri has two coaches assigned to coach the offensive linemen.
"I thought (practice) was really cool," said McGovern. "It was very high intensity, with a lot of the younger guys getting in, and it looked like a lot of fun. It got me excited!"
"That's really good seeing that," continued McGovern, speaking about the two offensive line coaches providing individual instruction. "Two offensive line coaches, helping the offensive linemen with their technique, and two coaches providing one on one (instruction)."
I asked McGovern if he's looking forward to his arrival at Missouri.
"Yeah. I'm excited!" said McGovern, as he began to talk about transitioning to Missouri next June. "I'm really very excited! I'm ready to get started."
