The Tigers added another speedy athlete to their defensive backfield. Find out more about the latest Tiger committ, David Johnson.

Missouri picked up their 16th known 2011 commitment on Saturday, in CB David Johnson 6'0" 180 4.37 Spring (TX).

Johnson really enjoyed his visit to Missouri, and talked with ShowMeMizzou about his visit.

"It was a lot of fun," said Johnson, who reports a 37" vertical jump, a maximum bench press of 245 pounds, and has competed extensively in the 110-meter hurdles, with a best time of 13.83 seconds.

"I'm looking forward to being a Missouri Tiger!" exclaimed an excited David Johnson. "The players came up to me at practice, and introduced themselves to me. Then Coach Pinkel introduced me to the team, and said that he wanted me to be a Missouri Tiger. It made me feel good! It was nice."

"The way they make you feel welcome," replied Johnson, when I asked him what it was that he likes about Missouri. "How they emphasize family."

Johnson is a very good student, and plans to arrive at Missouri in June.
