Tigers Lose In Tempe 27-24 To Iowa

The Missouri Tigers late a 4th quarter lead get away on an INT returned for a touchdown to lose the 2010 Insight Bowl

After trailing for most of the game, the Missouri Tigers came back to take a 24-20 lead heading into the 4th quarter, only to see the game slip from their grasp with a late interception by Blaine Gabbert which was returned for a TD to give Iowa the 27-24 win in the 2010 Insight Bowl.

Despite throwing for over 400 yards and a TD, Gabbert's 2 interceptions were costly ones as the first one came with the end of the first half winding down and the Tigers were in the red zone and looked poised to score. The second pick was the difference in the final score.

We will have a full post game report coming.
