Kiel indicated that he's taking his time this spring, as far as the recruiting process goes, and is just kind of placing the entire recruiting process on the back burner for a little while. He said that he and his family would take some time before this summer to map out an itinerary for him to get around, and check out some schools.
Kiel's offer list is burgeoning, and growing weekly, with a recent Michigan State offer to add to such notables as Alabama, Georgia, Iowa, Missouri, Purdue, Tennessee, and Wisconsin, among others. Kiel indicated that he "likes everybody", and is still pretty much "wide open" in his recruitment.
Kiel, who camped at Missouri last June, talked about his interest in the Missouri Tigers.
"I went and saw Missouri play," said Kiel, who went on to say that he thinks Missouri is a school that will be in there at the end.
Kiel indicated that he's taken note of Blaine Gabbert's early departure to the NFL, and said that he believes that Gabbert will be successful in the pros. He admitted that he too has a goal of playing in the NFL.
ShowMeMizzou.com will continue to follow Gunner Kiel's recruitment.
