Evan Boehm 6'3" 290 OG/C Lee's Summit West
5.1 forty

-Boehm is the top offensive line prospect in Missouri for 2012. He is a tenacious blocker who locks on to his target and does not let up. He goes full speed every play using his strength, technique and quickness to overwhelm his opponents.

Donavin Newsom 6'2" 220 LB/RB Parkway North

-I have scouted Donavin since his freshman year on varsity, where he exhibited flashes that led me to believe he had future D1 potential. Great athlete. Total package of speed, strength and athleticism. Has offers from Missouri, Iowa and Kansas State.

Ondre Pipkins 6'3" 322 DT Park Hill
5.2 forty-Jr. Stats:

-Pipkins is a massive defensive lineman that is also very quick and athletic. He can play multiple positions along the defensive front and demands a double and triple team on every play. Great quickness and motor. Has offers from Missouri and Kansas State.

King Frazier 6'0" 195 RB Lee's Summit
4.45 forty-Jr. Stats: 207 carries 1,453 yards 16 TDs-28 catches 456 yards 4 TDs-Defense: 52 tackles 2 fumble recoveries

-Frazier is the top running back prospect in the state for 2012. He is a great combo of speed, power, quickness and agility. He has good forward lean and pad level when he runs, also using good vision and jackhammer feet to elude defenders. Also a very good receiver. Should see first offer come soon.

Michael Scherer 6'3" 237 LB MICDS
4.75 forty-Jr. Stats: 68 tackles 1 sack-Offense: 919 yards rushing 12 TDs-200 yards receiving

Scherer is a big, physical athlete that runs well. He can be a big thumper as a middle linebacker or play with his hand down if he continues to grow. He would also make an excellent H-back or fullback in college. Has offers from Missouri,Iowa,Nebraska,Illinois and Boston College.

Michael Rose 6'0" 215 LB Kansas City Rockhurst
4.7 forty-Junior stats: 68 tackles in shortened season

-Rose is a tenacious defense who plays with an attitude. Great at shedding blocks and tracking down plays using his quickness. More quick then straight-line speed fast. Has offers from Nebraska and Iowa.

Austin Ray 6'6" 234 TE Columbia Rock Bridge
4.72 forty-Jr. Stats: 18 catches 212 yards receiving -8 TDs

-Ray has a great size and speed combo for a TE. He runs very well in his routes and after the catch with the ball. Great hands (plays C on the basketball team), and can make tough catches. Excellent red zone target. Also a loves to block and does it well. Can line up as a traditional TE or in the slot in the spread. Receiving attention from Iowa,Missouri,LSU and Oklahoma.

Edmond Ray 6'5" 290 DT Ritenour
4.9 forty- Jr. Stats: 74 tackles, 8 sacks, 1 fumble recovery

-"Easy" Ed Ray is another athletic lineman in the 2012 class. Great size, quickness, speed and motor. Gets up field quickly and keeps battling. Makes plays behind the line of scrimmage and runs down opposite field action. Also, plays OL and rarely leaves the field.

Kevonn Mabon 6'2" 205 WR/OLB St. Louis DeSmet
4.49 forty- Jr. Stats: 13 catches for 302 yards-5 TDs, 23.7 yards per catch average-Defense:54 tackles, 2 sacks,2 fumble recoveries. Scored 9 TDs overall offensively, defensively and on special teams.

- Mabon could be the sleeper of the class. He has great size and speed. He is an elite AAU track athlete, and he uses his speed on both sides of the ball. Great hands as a receiver and runs well. His numbers suffered as DeSmet had QB issues. Very fast off the edge defensively. Could play OLB or S on defense. Led the Spartans in kickoff returns yards splitting them with teammate Neal.

Jehu Chesson 6'3" 185 WR Ladue
4.52 forty- Jr. Stats: 53 catches for 605 yards and 11 touchdowns-Defense: 8 tackles- 2 INTs playing cornerback.

-Chesson is a long athletic receiver who runs well. He has long arms and big hands which he uses to snag passes out of the air. Excellent in the red zone. Has good speed and could probably get faster in college.

Others who deserve mention:

Morgan Steward 5'11" 188 RB/CB  Kansas City Staley

-Steward will likely blow up this spring and summer after his standout performance at the US Army combine where he ran a 4.4 forty, vertical jumped 38.5 inches ,ran a 4.0 shuttle and lifted 185lbs 22 times. What is keeping him off the list is that he has on ly played fullback in high school. He looks to have tailback and possibly cornerback size and athleticism.

Brandon Sheperd 6'2" 185 WR/S Parkway Central
-Sheperd has been a 3 year varsity starter. Great athlete with size and speed. Hasn't put up better numbers since he plays in a run offense. Good hands and runs well with the ball.Reportedly has an offer from Iowa.

Stay tuned to for the best recruiting coverage of the Missouri class of 2012.
