Tigers Offer 2012 Defensive Tackle

The Missouri Tigers continue their quest for top notch defensive prospects for the 2012 recruiting class with new offer

Matt Godin has picked up three offers in the last four days, as things are really heating up for the 6-5, 270-lb defensive tackle.

"Missouri offered me," he reported. "They did it over e-mail and then I called them. It was Coach Kuligowski."

As for a visit, Godin said, "They said probably spring game I'll try to make it down there."

Vanderbilt offered on Tuesday and Michigan offered on Sunday. That adds to a list that includes Michigan State, Duke, Cincinnati, Buffalo, and Syracuse.

The Commodores are a school he'll look closer at. Fellow Catholic League lineman Conor Hart committed to Vandy last year, and the two have been in contact.

"I'm going to take stronger look [at Vanderbilt]. Conor Hart went there. I messaged him. He said it's a great place and I have to try to make it down. I heard Nashville's pretty cool."
