Texas DE Lists Mizzou In His Top 5

ShowMeMizzou.com talks with one of the top speed rushers at defensive end in Texas who has the Missouri Tigers among his top 5 schools he is considering

Missouri is targeting several defensive linemen for the 2012 recruiting class, including DE Danielle Hunter 6'4" 220 4.52 Katy (TX) Morton Ranch.

Hunter reports holding offers from Arkansas, Houston, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech. He told ShowMeMizzou.com that he has narrowed his choices at present to include Arkansas, Houston, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M. He said that he is "somewhat high" on those five schools.

He's already visited Houston, and is planning to visit the other four schools this summer. He said that he would "maybe" make a decision before his senior season, or he might end up waiting until later.

Hunter is looking for a school that features a "good engineering program". He reports a 3.0 GPA. His vertical jump is 35", and he has posted 10 reps of 225 lbs. in the bench press. He reports a maximum bench press of 285 lbs., and a maximum power clean of 290 lbs..

Hunter's biggest assets are his speed and explosiveness, but he does need to get stronger. He has good weight gain potential.
