Kansas City (MO)Staley defensive lineman Nathanael Lohn made a visit to Missouri on Tuesday to checkout the Tigers practice and look at things. It did not take long for the Tiger coaches to decide that they would like Nate to join them at practice next year on the field and participate as he picked up a verbal offer from Mizzou this evening.
"Coach Bouchard told me that the Tigers left a message for him to have me call them and so when I called Coach Hill he said that they would love to have me become a Missouri Tiger", said Lohn> "It's very exciting to add the offer from Missouri because it's something that I have been hoping for."I asked Nate if he informed Staley teammate and future Tiger Morgan Steward about the offer.
"Yes,sir. Morgan was the first person I called to tell. He was pretty excited. He was running around his house saying woooo."
Lohn and Steward are good friends, and Steward hopes to attend college with Lohn in the future.
I also asked Lohn about a time frame for making a decison.
"No,sir. I don't think I could make up my mind just yet. The Tigers haven't given me a time limit or anything. They want me to attend some of their camps and give me time to make my decision.
ShowMeMizzou.com will continue to be on top of Nate Lohn's recruitment.
