Highly Regarded Lineman Talks Tigers

One of the most heavily sought after linemen in the country has a Tiger offer and shares his thoughts about Missouri and his recruitment

The  nationally fourteenth-ranked offensive tackle in the class of 2012 has confirmed to ShowMeMizzou com that he has received a scholarship offer from the Missouri Tigers

The verbal offer that Missouri assistant Bruce Walker extended to 2012 OT Ronnie Stanley  6'7"  285  5 0  Las Vegas (NV) Bishop Gorman, "a month or so ago", adds to Stanley's already impressive list of offers that includes Arizona, Arizona State, ArkansasAuburn, California, Illinois, LSU, Miami, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oregon State, UCLA, USC, Utah, and Washington, among others

"I think they're a really good program,"  said Stanley, speaking of the Missouri Tigers   "They have a really good coaching staff, and academics are good there, too   So, that's a good thing "

Stanley has already visited Arizona, UCLA, and USC   He doesn't have any other visits planned at present, primarily because he is busy playing AAU basketball this spring   He said that he doesn't have a timetable established for narrowing his choices, or for choosing a school

Stanley reports a 28" vertical jump, and is considered to have real good feet for a big man   He doesn't appear to have narrowed down his list of suitors

"I'm not sure, yet,"  replied Stanley, answering my question about narrowing his list of school choices   "I'm not 100% sure yet what I'm going to do   I'm pretty much wide open "
