Texas DT Curry Is Latest Tiger Offer

Missouri looks to Texas with it's latest offer to a defensive prospect as they continue to look to beef up the 2012 class along the defensive line

The Missouri Tigers have been making the rounds, looking for a few good men.  Coach Dave Steckel checked in on one prospect this week, and 2012 DT Aaron Curry  6'3"  271  Keller (TX) Fossil Ridge tells ShowMeMizzou.com that he now holds a Missouri offer.

Curry picked up his offer from the Tigers on Tuesday night

"I've looked into Missouri a lot,"  said Curry.  "It's a good school, and they have a good program.  I've seen them on TV.  I'm pretty happy about the offer."

Curry holds offers from Boise State, Indiana, Kansas, Kansas State, and New Mexico, in addition to Missouri.  He's already been to visit Kansas State.  He's planning to visit Missouri "sometime this summer", but doesn't know which other schools he'll visit.

Curry said that he'll need to add "about 25 pounds" to play DT in college, and that he can play either on the nose or at the three technique.

Curry admitted that he considers Missouri to be his best offer.  He's quick off of the ball, uses his hands well, and has a good motor.  He also plays basketball.

ShowMeMizzou.com will continue to follow Aaron Curry's recruitment.
