Tigers Land Texas Safety Commitment

The Missouri Tigers picked up their second recent commitment from a Texas defensive standout in a few days

Cleburne (TX) Head Coach, Phil Young, has confirmed to ShowMeMizzou.com that 2012 safety prospect, Chaston Cuffee 6'2 190 4.48 has verbally committed to the Missouri Tigers.

"He's a hitter," said Coach Young, talking about Cuffee. "He's going to be a big explosive hitter! I think Missouri really got them a sweet find here."

"Chaston played QB for us last year," explained Coach Young. "But, he's going to play safety for us this year."

Coach Young had called Missouri assistant coach Josh Henson, whom he has known for several years, and told him to come and take a look at Cuffee.

"I said," Began Coach Young. "Josh, you've got to get here and look at this guy. Somebody's going to get an absolute lottery pick right here, because nobody's looking at him, because, there's no video on him playing safety."

"Henson came by and took a look at him," continued Coach Young. "And, he said, "Oh, we want this guy!""
