Summer Visit For 2012 Tiger Hoops Offer

New Tiger basketball coach Frank Haith and staff are working hard on the 2012 Mizzou basketball class. We talk to one top target who plans on visiting in the near future

Coach Frank Haith and his staff have been busy on the recruiting trail. ShowMeMizzou.com has learned of a new offer that has gone out, and this 2012 combo guard is planning to visit Missouri soon.

Negus Webster-Chan 6'7" 195 Huntington (WV) Huntington Prep has confirmed to ShowMeMizzou.com that he has received a Missouri offer, and that he's planning to visit Missouri in the next few weeks.

Webster-Chan, who is originally from Toronto, Canada, is well-acquainted with Missouri RSF Kadeem Green, and Missouri prospect Richard Peters.

Webster-Chan holds offers from Cincinnati, Florida State, Iowa State, Louisville, West Virginia, and Xavier, among others. He's planning to narrow down his list of choices before his senior year begins, but he's not in a hurry to sign, and he said that he may wait until next spring to decide on a school.

Webster-Chan is a smooth, highly skilled, and athletic back court player, who reminds some of a young Tracy McGrady. There's not much on the court that he's not real good at, and he usually makes it look easy.

Webster-Chan said that "it depends on how I develop", in response to my question regarding how many years he would stay in college.

With regard to Missouri, Webster-Chan said, "Right now, it sounds good so far, from what Coach Tim Fuller has told me. But, I want to go see it in person."
