Another Top Target Visiting Today

The Missouri Tigers are getting an unofficial visit from one of their top 2012 football targets in the state of Missouri and overall in this years recruiting class today

Last Friday it was Springfield Hillcrest WR Dorial Green-Beckham who made an unofficial visit. Today the Tigers get another top in-state target on campus from the defensive side of the ball.

The Missouri Tigers were the first team to extend an offer to Parkway North linebacker Donavin Newsom 6'3" 220 earlier this year.

Donavin said at the time that Missouri was at the top of his list and that a commitment could come sometime in the not too far off future. Since that time, double digit offers have come in from schools across the Big 12 and Big 10 including the lies of Iowa, Michigan State, Nebraska,Arkansas, Wisconsin,Tennessee,Wake Forest and more. has learned that Donavin will be on campus this morning and plans to spend today on an unofficial visit at Mizzou.

"Donavin will be on Mizzou's campus Friday," said Parkway North Head Coach Bob Bunton in a message. "I am driving him up there to meet the staff at 10am and he will spend the day visiting the campus meeting with various staff people. He has done well (with recruiting) and now it's time for him to start narrowing things down."
