Receiver Prospect Looking At Missouri Visit

The Missouri Tiger football program is looking for a few talented playmakers at the Wide Receiver position for their 2012 class and it looks like they will get a visit from this one

The Missouri Tigers have been expanding their search for talent, and have extended an offer to 2012 WR Drae Bowles 6'2" 200 4.5 Jackson (TN) Christian. The talented pass-catcher took a few minutes to visit with, and he updated us on his recruitment.

Bowles, who also plays basketball and runs track, holds 23 football scholarship offers, including offers from Arkansas, Arkansas State, Auburn, Duke, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Notre Dame, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt, among others, in addition to Missouri.

"I'm still wide open," began Bowles. "There's not any schools that are sticking out to me, in particular. But, the ones that are recruiting me the hardest right now, I would say Tennessee, Ole Miss, Duke, Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Missouri. Those are some of the ones that are recruiting me the hardest right now. But, as far as having any favorites, or anything, I'm just kind of keeping my options open on that aspect."

Bowles, who reports a 30" vertical, and a 10.8 second 100 meters, is planning to visit Missouri "sometime this summer", probably in July.

Bowles, who plays in a spread offense, has very good hands, is a physical blocker, and also plays linebacker on the other side of the football.

"Missouri's a great school academically," said Bowles. "And not only that, they have a great football program." will continue to follow Drae Bowles' recruitment.
