Texas Lineman High On Missouri

The Missouri Tigers are currently at the top of this Texas offensive lineman as they look to add to a strong 2012 O-line class

The Missouri Tigers have offered several offensive linemen for 2012, and have already received verbal commitments from two of their top OL targets. ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with another 2012 OL prospect, Donovan Williams 6'2" 290 5.2 San Antonio (TX) James Madison, who confirmed that he has a Missouri offer.

Williams also holds offers from New Mexico, and Texas State, in addition to Missouri.

Williams, who is a good student, and has researched Missouri, said that he believes that he's a good fit for the Missouri offense.

"Missouri looks like it would be a great place for me to go to school," said Williams.

"Missouri is probably my number one," Williams went on to explain, identifying Missouri as his "best offer".

Williams is a multi-sport athlete, who plays basketball, and puts the shot in track and field. He reports personal bests of 5.2 in the forty, a standing vertical of 27", a maximum bench press of 450 pounds, a maximum in the power clean of 265 pounds, and a maximum in the squat of 560 pounds.

"He's cool," said Williams, describing Missouri assistant coach, Craig Kuligowski, who's been his primary recruiter.

Williams has yet to take any visits, and plans to wait until during, or after, the season to take his official visits. He's pretty excited about getting to trip to Missouri this fall, and hopes to be able to do so on a weekend when Missouri is playing at home.

ShowMeMizzou.com will continue to follow Donovan William's recruitment.
