Will Mizzou Hit The Mark?

One of the top defensive prospects from the state of Texas gives ShowMeMizzou.com an update with his recruitment and where the Missouri Tigers fit in his plans at the moment

Missouri continues to recruit several DTs for 2012, including a highly-regarded multi-sport athlete from East Texas.

ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with 2012 DT prospect, Tomme Mark 6'2" 265 4.77 Lufkin (TX), and he updated us on his recruitment.

Mark reports offers from Arkansas, Houston, Michigan State, SMU, SFA, and Utah, among others, in addition to Missouri. He recently told ShowMeMizzou.com that Missouri is among his top five, including Missouri, SMU, SFA, Texas A&M, and TCU.

Mark is planning to attend a camp at Texas A&M in mid-July, and he said that he expects that he may receive an offer from A&M following the camp. He said of A&M that he "wants to see what it's like."

"From the way that they've been talking," said Mark, speaking of Texas A&M, "I'm probably going to get an offer. I've been to a game down there, and I know what they're all about."

Mark would like to take an unofficial visit to Missouri this summer, but he may have to wait until this fall, when he can take an official visit to Missouri.

"I want to try to make it (to Missouri) this summer," explained Mark. "But if not, I'm going to for sure be down to check them out on a game day, and get a visit in."

"I'm still interested in Missouri," said Mark. "And, they're still interested in me. The only thing that's keeping me from making a decision on if I want to play there or not, is making it down there to visit them."

ShowMeMizzou.com will continue to follow Tomme Mark's recruitment.
