2013 Basketball Recruit Talks Mizzou Offer

Rising class of 2013 Kansas prospect talks to ShowMeMizzou.com about his recent unofficial visit to Missouri and picking up an offer from the Tigers as well.

On Tuesday, the Missouri Tigers hosted an unofficial visitor, in 2013 SF Semi Ojeleye, 6'6" 215 Ottawa(KS).

Ojeyele, who plays AAU basketball for the MOKAN Spiece Elite, is the younger brother of Kansas State's Victor Ojeleye.

Ojeyele confirmed to ShowMeMizzou.com that Coach Haith and the Missouri Tigers have come through with a scholarship offer. He also reports having an offer from Wisconsin. He talked about his visit to Missouri.

"It was great! I got to meet them face to face," began Ojeyele, who goes by the name, Semi. "Coach Haith is really down to earth. He's a real guy. He kind of showed me where I would fit into their offense, and what the University of Missouri has to offer me, and how I can help them out."

Semi has grown quite a bit over the past year, and has gotten a lot stronger, and more athletic. He's been working on his game, and is developing into a very high-level player.

"Just been working out," explained Semi, regarding the dramatic improvement in his game.

Semi is currently focused on playing basketball, and trying to get better. He said that he would like for his parents to accompany him to visit the schools that have offered him so far, but is not really focused on recruiting at this time. He indicated that it would probably be next year before he narrows things down.

ShowMeMizzou.com will continue to follow Semi's recruitment.
