2013 Intro: MO Linebacker Stands Out

The Show-Me State looks like it will produce several stand out prospects at the linebacker position in the 2013 class as we introduce you to another underclassmen that caught our eye at a Tiger camp

One of the top players that I saw at the Missouri camps this year is 2013 LB Eric Beisel  6'4"  210  4.51  St. Louis (MO) Rockwood Summit, who was recommended to the Missouri staff by his high school coach.

Beisel came to Columbia for one of the Team Camps, and worked with Coach Yost's Renegade team.

ShowMeMizzou.com was on hand to observe Beisel, and got a good look at this talented athlete.  Beisel has real good size.  In fact, he looks big enough to possibly grow into a DE.  He's quick, as well as fast, and shows good change of direction.  While his pass coverage skills may not be what he is known for,  he showed real good recovery speed and ball skills in pass drills.

He was the best athlete on the field that day, and I would expect to see him continue to receive recruiting interest from Missouri, as well as from other schools.

He-is potential indicates that could be one of the top 2013 LBs in the state of Missouri, and possibly the Midwest.

Beisel doesn't currently hold any scholarship offers, but he is receiving recruiting interest from Missouri, Alabama, and Oklahoma State, among others.

Beisel is a multi-sport athlete who plays baseball, and has bench pressed 345 pounds.  He has expressed interest in Missouri.

ShowMeMizzou.com will continue to follow Eric Beisel's recruitment.
