The Missouri Tigers have gone back to the Lone Star State to extend another scholarship offer. ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with 2012 safety prospect Leo Thomas 6'2" 175 4.45 San Antonio (TX) Houston, and he informed us that he now holds a Missouri offer.
"Yes sir," said Thomas. "Missouri offered me last month."
"I play safety, receiver, and kick returner," explained Thomas, talking about his role on his high school team.
Thomas currently holds offers from Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico State, North Texas, Sam Houston State, Texas State, USFA, UTEP, and Wake Forest, in addition to Missouri. He's being recruited by Texas Tech, as well, and he said that he expects the Red Raiders to offer him soon.
Thomas is a multi-sport athlete, who also plays basketball, and runs track. He reports a season-best 6'2" high jump this spring, in his first year in the event. Thomas also reports a 36" standing vertical.
Thomas indicated that he'll wait to take his official visits in the fall, before making a final decision. Missouri is one of the schools he wants to visit.
"When we get an off week, I plan to take an official visit to Missouri," said Thomas.
Thomas identified Missouri and Arizona as two of the schools to which he plans to take official visits.
Thomas also talked about how much he and his teammates like Missouri assistant coach, Craig Kuligowski.
"Coach K is real cool," said Thomas.
ShowMeMizzou.com will continue to follow Leo Thomas' recruitment.
